Yes — that's the idea. The equipment in every kit is reusable, and refill mixes live at farmsteady.com/collections/mixes-refills, so round two is just the ingredients.

The equipment lasts forever. Ingredients are shelf-stable with best-by dates printed on the mixes (typically 12-18 months from shipment; the Italian Fresh Cheese Kit's ingredients keep at least 18 months). Past the date? Keep the gear, grab a refill mix at farmsteady.com/collections/mixes-refills, and pick up where you left off.

A thin white film (kahm yeast) on a ferment is common and harmless — skim it off and carry on. Fuzzy spots in blue, green, or black are mold: discard that batch and start fresh. When in doubt, email a photo to hello@farmsteady.com and we'll take a look.

Every product page lists full ingredients and allergen info in its Nutrition section — including facility warnings. Several baking kits work with vegan butter and milk substitutes. For a specific dietary question, email hello@farmsteady.com and we'll give you a straight answer about the exact kit.

Returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase, in original condition and packaging (custom orders excluded). Email hello@farmsteady.com within 3 days of receiving your order and we'll issue a return authorization with the address to ship it back to.

Let us know within 3 days of delivery. If the box and goods arrive visibly damaged (including a shattered glass fermenter), send a photo to hello@farmsteady.com and we'll replace the entire order; if a single part is damaged, email info@farmsteady.com and we'll send a replacement part.

No need to return anything — email hello@farmsteady.com with your order number and what's missing (a part, a lid, a packet), and we'll ship the replacement piece right out.
