Directions

  1. Prep
Preheat oven to 375˚F. Spray doughnut pan with baking spray.
Don’t have a doughnut pan? You can use a muffin tin with a small ball of tin foil in the center to create a doughnut hole.
  2. Make Batter
In a mixing bowl, combine 1/2 cup milk, 2 tablespoons melted butter, and 2 eggs. Add in the baking mix and stir until well blended.
  3. Fill Doughnut Pan
Using a spoon or piping bag, add batter to doughnut pan filling just shy of the top. If you are using a muffin tin, fill just under 1”.
  4. Bake
Bake for 15 minutes. Remove from pan and let cool.
  5. Glaze
Working in batches, sift 1/2 cup of glaze mixture into a bowl and begin mixing with water or milk, 1 tablespoon at a time until you reach desired texture. Glaze should be runny, but set up nicely when a room temperature doughnut is dipped into it.

Dip the top of each doughnut in glaze, let set and repeat 2-3 times for a classic flaky glaze, and enjoy!
