While, our bagels didn't turn out as amazingly as the Bagel Store's (rest in peace) in Williamsburg Brooklyn. We gave it the old college try. I gave 5 stars because the kit is fairly easy to follow and fun. However, I have no idea HOW anyone could get a dozen bagels out of this kit. As beginners we achieved 9, with 4 thick enough to resemble more of that classic NY Bagel size.
The steps were easy to follow. The colors were vibrant. I enjoyed this activity with my daughter.

Perfect for a special breakfast! I bake a lot so split it into two days: you can chill after shaping and then in the morning took them out and let them rise on the counter then boiled and baked.
